A bushy herbaceous plant.
The plant has an upright growth habit, with a very sturdy stem and broad, dark green trifoliate leaves.
Grows to a height of 70 to 90 cm and has a more robust root system than soybeans.
Its roots can grow up to 95 cm deep in 8 weeks of vegetative growth.

spacing, to yield a stand of 90,000 to 130,000
