Planting Tips

Sow starting August 15; possible until late October or early November
earlier sowing may result in some flowering of alternative species

Caution if sulfonylureas were used on the previous crop;
consider plowing if necessary

Seeding rate: 7–8 kg/ha, yielding 260 to 380 seeds per square meter

Monitor for possible slug infestations

Remove the ground cover starting in January, no later than the end of February,
by rolling it with a roller during a frost or by mulching
