“On the advice of our technician, we tested LEAFY corn in 2024 on 4 hectares.
We were very satisfied with this first trial of this variety, which is why we decided to plant 12 hectares in 2025.
What we liked was its appearance and very large size. What we’re looking for: to maximize our yield to optimize our irrigation. We noticed very good coverage between rows thanks to its drooping leaf structure.
The summer of 2025 was very dry, and the LEAFY corn showed good tolerance to water stress, with a greater ability to stay green than other varieties. We estimate its yield at 19–20 T DM/ha this year.
We plan to plant between 15 and 20 ha for the 2026 planting season.”
